extensive drilling in hardened steel (Material 4140 300Hb).
This is a manufacturing challenge to keep speeds up.
So when the customer's
engineers switched from their current high performance drill
to HardCore® Technology, the goal was to significantly
increase production speeds.
The results: 814
holes in just over 34 minutes, with one drill. That's compared to
814
holes in 1.1 hours using three drills with the old tool
supplier.
