NEW CUTTING TOOL SOLUTIONS DEBUT AT PARIS AIR SHOW

ATI Stellram is set to display a raft of high technology cutting tools for machining titanium at the Paris Air Show, including its latest tools for cutting the new generation of aero materials, on the ATI Aerospace stand C35 in Hall 5.

The solution provider for difficult-to-machine materials also plans to preview its new range of solid carbide RAPIDE^® aerospace tools and its Hardcore^® Technology drilling program.

Show visitors will also be able to learn more about ATI Stellram’s new turning geometries, the 4E, 1B and 3F, as well as its new 48 geometry program, which has just been expanded by adding more inserts in a wider choice of radii and grades for the aerospace industry.

New milling tools such as the Stellram® chevron-style 5230VS and high-feed 7792VX cutters will be on display alongside ATI Stellram’s machining capabilities involving a range of ATI aerospace grade materials such as ATI 5553™ and ATI 6-4™ titanium, and ATI 4340 nickel alloy.

“The Paris Air Show represents an important opportunity to demonstrate how ATI Stellram cutting tool solutions can deliver rapid metal removal rates and better productivity on even the most challenging specialty metals,” explained Andy Venn, ATI Stellram’s European marketing manager.
